Let’s Get to Growth (LG2G)

You made it. I suppose I did to - or at least working on it (more on that later).

Anyway, welcome to the Let’s Get to Growth (LG2G) Blog (are they even calling them that anymore?).

I love sales. I truly believe we are sales people. Anytime you meet a new person - whether in elementary school or corporate America - you are selling who you are to that person. A choice to not sell, is a sales tactic. A choice to ignore them - another sales tactic. How we present ourselves (written by the guy wearing the knit Hartford Whalers hat from when he was 12), is selling. We do it everyday - some of us just chose to do it for other people and make it a profession.

Growth is the result of sales. Low growth is a choice. High paced growth is a choice. Just as in life, growth is inevitable - but how we define it (good or bad), the pace of it (slow or fast), is up to us. Very literally however, we grow or we die.

So given we don’t have a choice (in my experience at least) - let’s get to growth. Something that must be done, should be done to its best - and that’s why were here.
